from February to April, I worked for many moons on a collaborative project with my good friend Jaime McFarland (graphic designer). She had an original concept for the Sasquatch Festival, and was creating a set of 3 posters correlating to the three days of the event. Because the festival is known as Indie-band oriented, and it's to be noted that Indie bands do love animal names, her idea was to create a new breed of mythological creatures after dissecting the band names and extracting their animal sides. I helped her in designing which animals/bands were to be picked, depending on the color scheme/size/importance of each band on each poster. In the end 6 sculptures emerged and are now hanging at the Art Center College of Design's gallery.
The images are focused on the process of our personal favorite, the "Little Dragon", as well as photos from the actual installation.
